After causing the season's first major upset, beating Medeama on the opening day of the campaign, Wa All Stars coach, Nuhu Mohammed has played down the expectation level.

The Blues who struggled last season beat the big spenders 2-1 away in Sekondi after putting in a solid performance.

Coach Nuhu insists it's too early to start talking about their chances for the season but expects his side to compete well.

"I am just hoping that we can sustain the performance. It's still early to say anything about winning [the league]," the Wa All Stars coach said.

As the prepare for the weekend's visit of Tema Youth, the Blues coach is determined to see an improved performance from his side.

"We have to correct our mistakes and move forward," he said.
