Agogo helps Forest to FA Cup win

Ghana striker, Junior Agogo scored his fifth FA Cup goal as he contributed to League One side Nottingham Forest’s dumping of Premiership side, Charlton Athletic out of the competition at the City Ground.

James Perch headed the inspirational Nathan Tyson's cross wide before racing down the left to set up Junior Agogo, who slotted home from close range in the 28th minute.

Two minutes later, Agogo could have doubled the lead for Forest but saw his effort come off his own player after But within the space of three minutes, Forest stunned their Premiership opponents by taking a 2-0 lead.

Agogo having bagged the first, tapping in from four yards after a brilliant run down the right from Perch before Grant Holt doubled the lead, heading Nicky Southall's free-kick home from close range.

And after 66 minutes, Agogo was substituted as Forest cruise to the next stage of the FA Cup.

Forest looked happy to sit on their advantage and sat deeper and deeper as the second half wore on, but they never looked in any real danger.
