Junior Agogo’s scored his first goal in the African Champions League after Al-Ahly managed to hold arch rivals Zamalek to a 2-2 draw in the Cairo derby on Sunday.

The Black Stars striker’s goal which handed Zamalek a point keeps alive their hopes of reaching the last four, although they would need to win away if they are to have any chance when they play in Harare next Sunday against Dynamos.

With the scoreline at 1-1 after the opening 45 minutes, Junior Agogo fired in a shot to far post just six minutes into the second half to put Zamalek in the lead but Al-Ahly cancelled that out when Mohamed Aboutrika grabbed a 70th minute equaliser.

Zamalek are bottom of the Group A table with four points.
