Agogo arrives in camp

Ghana international, Junior Agogo has joined his Black Stars colleagues presently in their Abu Dhabi camp base for the pre-African Cup of Nations training exercise.

The arrival of the Nottingham Forest forward completes the list of six strikers selected by Claude Le Roy who are in camp for preparations toward this month’s competition to be hosted by Ghana in four major cities.

Tunisia-based midfielder, Moussa Narry is expected to join the rest of the team later in the day.

Then on Sunday, a complete team would be available to train under the coaching staff when Bernard Yao Kumordzi and Sammy Adjei join their colleagues.

Also joining in on Sunday would be the English-based group of four; Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari, John Paintsil and Richard Kingson.

Ghana would get the tournament underway on January 20 at the Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra, the capital, with a game against Guinea in Group A.

The group also includes Morocco and Namibia.
