Adomah looks ahead with optimism

Albert Adomah is looking to the future to make his Ghana debut after the disappointment of the botched friendly with Nigeria on Tuesday.

The Bristol City attacker was excited with the prospect of getting to play for the Black Stars at some point in the game before the squad were informed that the game at the Vicarage Road Stadium been called off.

Adomah, hours of the cancellation of the game revealed to www.ghanafa.org his disappointment with events and stated that he can only hope to get another chance sometime.

“I must say, it was a very big disappointment. This was the chance to make my debut. Every player dreams of playing for the national team. But unfortunately for me, it's off for the moment," the player said.

"It was a chance to play for Ghana, in front my family and the fans. You know how the feeling would have been like. But more importantly, the chance to impress the coaches in a match is been delayed."

The 23 year-old is retaining the hope of another Ghana call up in the future.

"In football, there are such moments and I have got to move on and look ahead. I would grab any opportunity that comes.I need to play well and put myself in contention for a future call up."
