Adebayor scores brace as Inter Allies record vital win over Eleven Wonders

Brace-hero Victorien Adebayor's and Zakaria Mohammed were on target  as Inter Alliesrecorded their first away victory at the Ameyaw park in Techiman.

The Nigerien forward converted from the penalty spot in the first half before substitute Mohammed added the second in the 64th min before Adebayor scores again with a few minutes to the end of the match.

The visitors came under pressure in the opening minutes as Eleven Wonders started the game with their foot on the pedal.

Zakaria Abdul Mageese had an opportunity on the 19mn to put the host team ahead but he was denied by Inter IIlies goalie Ahenkorah Gideon.

In the on the 23min, an Inter Allies forward was brought down by Wonders’ goalkeeper as he tried to dribble pass him.

The resulting penalty  was perfectly converted by Victorien Adebayor in the 27th minute.

After recess Eleven Wonders quest to strengthen their midfield brought on Seth Osei for Frank Amankwah, Seth Osei displayed high level of tactical brilliance but the several chances he created couldn't yield any positive dividends.

InterAllies dominated play during the first 15mns of the second half.

Coach Tony Lokko brought On Zakaria Mohammed for Richmond Lamptey.The young chap quickly  paid off during the 64min as he scored a got the second goal for Inter IIlies with an assist from Victorien Adebayor.

The visitors  continued to mount pressure on the homesters and on the 83rd mn, Victorien Adebayor capitalized on defensive blunder of Eleven Wonders and got the third goal for Inter Allies.

Inter Allies came under intense pressure during the tail end of the game but Eleven Wonders striking department were unable to take advantage of the chances that came their way.

Inter Allies managed to consolidate their 3-0 lead till the final blast of the whistle.

Coach Tony Lokko was overwhelmed by the performance of his boys after the game."We played a typical 4-4-2 with flexibility at attack and also defended very well" Even as we prevailed,our opponents were not push overs.

Coach Ignatius Osei intimated that his boys failed to utilize countless goal scoring chances,he conceded defeat and said they will certainly make an amends in their next game.

Eleven Wonders will be hosted by Olympics in their next game.Inter Allies will play Karela United at Accra Sports Stadium.
