Ghana international, David Addy is hoping for a quick adjustment to life at FC Porto after completing a three-year deal from Danish side Randers FC on Monday.

Addy, 19, was a member of Ghana's Fifa Under-20 World Cup winning squad in Egypt last year.

The attacking left-back has hailed his move to the Portuguese side as an important moment in life.

"I can say that is the happiest day of my life so far, to sign up for a club like FC Porto is a pride," the Ghana player said.

Addy hopes to settle in at Porto, who have a huge support especially when playing at the Estadio do Dragao.

"I think the adjustment will be rapid. Here the weather is more pleasant than in Denmark and, as we have seen, the city is great to live."

The youngster has already set his sights on achieving a lot and admits that he is faced with a tough task.

"I have a tough task, but I will work and give everything to rise to this new challenge. I want to improve my football and help FC Porto as much as possible," he said.
