Access Bank Division One League statistics after 2025/26 season

Officially, the 2025/26 Access Bank Division One League season has come to an end after a total of 705 matches were played across all three zones.

Home teams dominated the campaign, recording 383 wins, while away sides managed 156 victories, with 166 matches ending in draws.

A total of 1,688 goals were scored throughout the season — 1,037 by home teams and 651 by away sides.

Discipline also played a big part in the campaign, with 129 red cards and 2,249 yellow cards issued over the course of the season.

From the penalty spot, 184 penalties were awarded, with 163 converted and 21 missed.

Individually, Dormaa Unity striker William Addo finished as the league’s overall top scorer with an outstanding 23 goals, as Zone One players dominated the scoring charts. In Zone Two, Nicholas Amekpewu scored 16 goals for Elmina Sharks, while Kedzie Korblah Jnr netted 15 goals in Zone Three.

In the clean sheets category, Port City goalkeeper Abdul Aziz Karim once again finished at the top with 16 clean sheets this season, after also leading the charts last campaign with 19 clean sheets.
