19 players seek floating status

Accra Hearts of Oak striker, Ablade Morgan is seeking to be declared a free agent after applying to the FA’s Player Status Committee.

Morgan, the highest profile player and some nineteen other players are on the lookout to be handed floating status when they appear before the panel on Thursday.

The player despite a limited playing time for the Phobians this season has five goals to his credit and failed to agree a contract extension with the club’s management.

Morgan after the breakdown of talks has not featured Mitko Dobrev’s team plans.

He is however reported to be away in China.

According to an FA statement, club’s who have players seeking floating status are to put in an appearance.

Players invited for hearing are: Latif Salifu and Kwakwo Frimpong (Cita FC) Sumaila Abubakar, Richard Armah and William Klutse (Great Olympics) Tony A. Addae (B. A. Untied) Ezekiel Nana Bamfo (Maxbees FC) and Ebenezer Bonna (Indece FC).

The others are Osborne Sakyiama (Ebony FC) Agyapong Fredrick (Tema Hearts Babies FC) Eric Ackon (Great Mariners FC) Emmanuel Adu Offei (Heart of Lions FC) Alfred Tetteh (Bafana Bafana FC) and Haruna Eliasu Tanko (Zaytuna FC).

The rest are Alex Owusu (Midtjiland FC) Sheba Sani (House of Lions) George Quarcoo (Oscar FC) while Ahafoman FC and Red Power FC are to appear over player, Robert Twumasi.
