Accra Hearts of Oak have gone second on the table after beating Power FC 1-0 at the Ho sports stadium on match-day-XIII.

The Phobians also have a game in hand.

Former Kotoko coach Ebo Mends, making his debut for Power FC would rue the opportunities that his side missed in both halves of the game.

The first half ended goalless with both sides seeking for the opener but the attackers of Power FC failed to keep their cool and focus as the missed some decent chances.

In the second half, Hearts of Oak had a goal scored by Ablade Morgan disallowed.

But Ablade Morgan was on hand to seal victory for the Phobians as he scored from a spot kick after a shot at goal had hit the hand of a Power FC player.

The Phobians managed to hang onto the goal as they move to the second position on the log for the first time this season.
