Mr. Augustine Asante has retained his position as Chairman of the Brong Ahafo Regional Football Association after winning the elections held at the Sunyani Stadium on Tuesday.
Mr. Asante pulled 103 votes whiles his contender Ralph Gyambrah had 76 votes out of the total votes cast.
The incumbent RFA Chairman will therefore represent the region on the GFA National Executive Committee for another four year term.
Incumbents Osei Tutu Agyeman and Abdul Lawal Ganiyu have both received endorsements after contesting unopposed as Regional Football Association Chairmen of the Ashanti and Eastern RFA’s respectively.
They will both return to the GFA National Executive Committee for another 4-year term.
