Legon Cities produced yet another world class performance on match day 16 of the Ghana Premier League as new boy continued his impressive form with a brace in a 2-0 win against Elmina Sharks at the Accra sports stadium.

The former Medeama SC star wasted no time in settling in the team after scoring in either side of the game to hand the Royals a deserved win.

Kwoffie who was making only his second appearance for the club opened the scoring in the 22nd minute after a spell of dominance.

Legon Cities were forced into a first half substitution after Richmond Antwi replaced injured Foster Braimah.

Baba Mahama meandered his way into the box and was brought down with the ball falling to Kwofie whose effort went wide.

Legon Cities went into the break with a 1-0 lead.

Hans Kwofie doubled the lead for Legon Cities five minutes into the second half – his eighth of the season. Kwofie who joined Cities from AshantiGold in this window netted on his Legon Cities bow in a 1-1 draw against Bechem United on Sunday.

Elmina Sharks looked disorganized and out of sorts as the hosts continued to dominate the half, eventually holding on to win 2-0 to end a run of three successive draws.
