Dreams FC have moved up to second on the table after handing a 2:0 defeat to Aduana Stars in Dawu, while Berekum Chelsea also defeated Liberty Professionals 2:1 in Kumasi in Monday’s Premier League Week 9 matches.

Dreams went into the game third on the table, but their emphatic win against the defending champions moves them to the second spot and level on points with leaders Ashantigold, who have a game in hand.

The game was moved to Monday following Aduana’s engagement in the CAF Confederations Cup in Madagascar last week, and Dreams produced a great second half display to snatch the win.

After a goalless first half, Patrick Arthur opened the scoring for Dreams in the 53rd minute, and and Issah Yakubu sealed the win with the second goal seven minutes later.

In Kumasi, Frederick Addae and Edmund Argo=Mensah were on target for Chelsea as they grabbed all three points in their replayed match. The match was called of on Sunday after a heavy downpour.

Frederick Adae gave Chelsea an early lead in the 9th minute but Brite Andoh cancelled it for Liberty Professionals in the 32nd minute. NASCO man of the match Edmund Arko-Mensah scored the winner for Chelsea in the 70th minute to move them to 9th on the table
