The Football Association, through its Coaching Education School, will organise a CAF License B Coaching Course from February 2 to 11, 2026, at the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram.
In line with the new CAF Coaching Convention, the programme will admit 25 participants, who will undergo three modules of 10 days each, with a mandatory one-month internship between every module. The structure is designed to combine classroom learning with hands-on, real-world coaching experience.
The course will cover both theoretical and practical components of modern coaching, with experienced and highly qualified instructors leading the sessions. Participants will receive comprehensive training in key areas such as data and video analysis, communication, the Laws of the Game, CPR and sports psychology—critical elements in contemporary football coaching.
The programme will be supervised by the Director of Coaching Education, Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum and delivered under the guidance of the GFA Technical Director, Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah.
This initiative forms part of the GFA’s broader vision to equip Ghanaian coaches with internationally recognised qualifications, preparing them to compete for professional coaching opportunities both locally and globally.
