Eleven Wonders move out of relegation zone with Victory Club Warriors win

Former Premier League side Eleven Wonders recorded a 2-1 victory over Liberty Youth at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman to temporary move out of the relegation Zone in 1B.

Abdul Samed Yakubu put Liberty Youth in front before halftime with an injury time stunner.

Emmanuel Amamu got the equalizer for Eleven Wonders in the 70th minute as Sadat Abdul Abubakari sealed victory in the 75th minute to help Eleven Wonders grab all the points. Techiman Heroes pip Wa Suntaa 1-0 to retain their top spot in Zone 1A. Richmond Nsiah Coka scored the only goal in the game at the 59th minute for Techiman Heroes.

Victory Club Warriors extended their unbeaten run to 5 games after recording a 3-0 victory over Steadfast FC to keep the pressure on Techiman Heroes in Zone 1A.

Emmanuel Boahen scored the opener for Victory Club Warriors in the 15th minute to give his side the lead. Mustapha Mohammed and Abdullah Anas scored 2 important goals in the second half in the 57th and 81st minutes to seal victory the visitors.
