Ebusua Dwarfs have seen their Confederation Cup fairytale come to an end following a 4-0 loss to Angola's Petro Atletico.

The 2-0 first leg advantage for the Ghanaian Premier League side counted for little as they could not continue with their form in Luanda over the weekend.

Dwarfs, who had set their sights on the title will now turn their focus to the domestic campaign where they now lie bottom of the 16-team table though they have two games in hand

“We will consider it a failure if we do not lift the Cup,” Dwarfs assistant coach, Rashid Iddi had said before the first leg in Cape Coast.

Though sitting bottom, Dwarfs are 12 point adrift a top-four place.
