Ghana's Ebenezer Assifuah faces tough competition for the top scorer award at the 2013 African Youth Championship.

The Black Satellites player is level on three goals with Egypt's Monem Hamid Mahmoud ahead of the clash between the two nations in the finals on Saturday.

Both players are the leading top scorers at the ongoing Championship in Algeria.

Assifuah, who scored three times in four matches opened his goal account in Ghana's opening fixture at the competition against Egypt.

He followed up with two strikes against Benin and hosts Algeria, both in the group stages.
