Division One side Wassaman handed Asante Kotoko a 1-0 defeat in their Elite Clubs Cup Third round qualifying match played on Wednesday at the Dompim Park in Tarkwa.
Ampem Dacosta scored in the 53rd minute to give the home side an advantage ahead of second leg which will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium on Wednesday April 22.
Winner of the tie will join fifteen other clubs who have qualified to the next stage of the novelty competition where they will be drawn into four groups made up of four teams each.
The clubs in each group will play against each other on a home and away basis. Three points shall be awarded for a win and one point for a drawn game.
