The Black Starlets have held a recovery training session in Yamoussoukro on Saturday following their 1-1 draw with Togo in the opening game of the 2025 WAFU Zone B U17 Boys Championship.

The light session was designed to help the players recover physically and mentally after their intense encounter with Togo, where Ghana played almost the entire match with ten men following an early red card to defender Gabriel Denyinah.

Led by head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum and his technical team, the training focused on stretching, light ball work, and tactical drills to prepare the team for their next group match against hosts Ivory Coast on Tuesday.

The Black Starlets showed resilience and tactical discipline in their opening game, and the technical team believes that the recovery program will enhance their performance for the upcoming fixtures.

Ghana will be looking to bounce back with a win against Ivory Coast to boost their chances of progressing from the group stage of the competition.
