The Black Starlets have concluded their preparations for Friday’s final Group A encounter against hosts Burkina Faso at the ongoing WAFU B U17 Championship in Ouagadougou.

The team held their final training session on Thursday at the Salitas Academy Complex, their regular training base throughout the competition, as head coach Kassim Ocansey and his technical team fine-tuned their preparations for the crucial fixture.

The Black Starlets head into the encounter on the back of two consecutive victories, having beaten Togo 1-0 in their opening match before recording an impressive 3-1 win over Benin. The results have secured Ghana’s qualification for the semi-finals with a game to spare.

Despite having already booked their place in the last four, the Ghanaian youngsters will be looking to maintain their winning momentum and finish the group stage on a strong note against their West African rivals.

For Burkina Faso, Friday’s match carries significant importance as the hosts seek to secure qualification for the semi-finals. They will need to avoid defeat against Ghana to keep their qualification hopes on track, setting up an intriguing contest at the 4th August Stadium.
