Coach of the Month winners in the UMB Division One League will receive a 43-inch NASCO television set in the 2026/27 season.
This marks a significant upgrade from the 32-inch television set presented to winners last season.
The enhanced package was announced as part of an upgraded NASCO rewards scheme for the second-tier league, powered by Electroland Ghana Limited, distributors of NASCO electronics and home appliances.
Electroland are entering their second season of full support for the Division One League, covering all matches across Zones One, Two and Three, in addition to their long-standing partnership with the Ghana Premier League and the Women's Premier League.
Under the new arrangement, player of the match winners in each Zone will now receive a NASCO stand blender — an upgrade from last season’s steam iron — while player of the month winners will take home a 32-inch NASCO television set, up from 24 inches last season.
For coaches, the upgrade to a 43-inch set is expected to serve as added motivation and recognition for technical excellence in the highly competitive Division One League.
CEO of Electroland Ghana Limited, Mr. Nour Seklaoui, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to Ghana football, stating that the Division One League remains a vital pillar in the development of the game.
General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo, Esq., commended Electroland for their consistent support and for enhancing the value of the monthly awards across the three domestic competitions.
The 2026/27 UMB Division One League season kicked off on Friday, September 18, 2026.
