Teams to play Cup final in H.E. Atta Mills' honour

As the nation continues a one-week mourning following Tuesday's passing of H.E. John Evans Atta Mills, organisers of the MTN FA Cup have resolved to play the final match in honour of the departed Ghanaian President.

H.E. Atta Mills, 68, an ardent football person died in the capital, Accra on Tuesday a few hours after being taken ill.

And his death led to the postponement of the grand-finale which had now been scheduled for Sunday, August 5th.

The final of the Cup competition is between New Edubiase and AshantiGold at the Accra Sports Stadium.
