Sulley Muntari has been ruled out of the weekend’s 2010 African Nations Cup and World Cup qualifier against Lesotho.

A toe injury picked up during a team training session in Bloemfontein means the midfielder, who played in the opening game against Libya would sit out of Sunday’s match at the Free State Stadium.

The injury to the left-sided midfielder is the only injury worry for the Ghanaian bench.

Ghana plays Lesotho in their second Group 5 match in the qualifying campaign as the Black Stars seek a second successive win after beating Libya 3-0 on Sunday.
