The second batch of players for the second phase of the Black Starlets screening exercise has arrived in Kumasi for training. The players, drawn from the Ashanti, Brong Ahafo, Northern, Upper West, and Upper East regions, complete the comprehensive screening exercise in the Northern sector of Ghana.

The first batch of 44 players reported to camp on Wednesday and concluded their training on Saturday before the second batch arrived. The players are camping at the Christian Village Guest House & Leadership Training Centre, Santasi Apire, near Opoku Ware School and St. Hubert Seminary.

Coach Frimpong Manso and his team are on the hunt for talented young players to form the next Black Starlets squad, aiming to excel in the 2025/26 WAFU B U-17 Cup of Nations and the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

This second phase of the screening exercise offers selected players another chance to shine and secure a spot in the team.
