POWER TO THE YOUTH: Frederick Acheampong Maintains role as Chairman of Black Starlets Management Committee
Executive Council member Frederick Acheampong has been retained as the Chairman of the Management Committee of the Black Starlets, Ghana’s U-17 Boys’s National Team.
Acheampong will be supported by Robert Duncan, Chairman of the Central Regional Football Association, who has been appointed as Vice Chairman of the committee.
The GFA has also retained Arif Daud as a member of the committee, ensuring continuity and experience in the team’s administration. Wonder Victor Kutor Esq. and Edmund Ackah have been added as new members, bringing fresh expertise to support the development and progress of the Black Starlets.
Wonder Victor Kutor Esq., a board member of the Volta River Authority and the Head of Human Resource for Youth Employment Authority is expected to introduce his vast knowledge and experience to support the committee to accelerate the progress of the team.
Following his role as General Manager for former Premier League Champions FC Samartex 1996, Edmund Ackah is highly respected for his immense knowledge in the game, and together with other members of the committee, they are expected to play a key role in ensuring the qualification of the Black Starlets to the next AFCON.
The retention and strengthening of the Black Starlets Management Committee form part of the Association’s ongoing strategy to provide strong leadership, stability and support to the country’s youth teams.
With this dynamic and experienced committee in place, the GFA is confident that the Black Starlets will receive the operational and technical backing necessary to achieve success on the continental and global stages.
