Ghana defender John Pantsil wants to quit English premiership side, West Ham.

The Black Stars player has seen little action at Upton Park since joining from Hapoel Tel Aviv in 2006.

He has not played since January and he has told his agent he is ready to leave.

"I don't understand the reason for always being in West Ham's reserve team, and I don't know what is really happening at the club," said the 26-year-old.

"I have told my agent that I am not happy to be in the reserves, and he should act very quickly.

"Alan Curbishley should give level grounds to all the players to show what they are made of."
