Muntari helps Milan close gap at the top

Sulley Muntari scored a goal to help AC Milan move within one point of Juventus at the top of Serie A on Wednesday.

Juventus could have wrapped up the title if results had gone their way but they drew whiles Milan, defending champions, beat Atalanta 2-0.

Ghana's Muntari poked home the opener from close range on nine minutes when he was found in the box by Kevin-Prince Boateng.

And Milan wrapped up victory in injury time when Robinho scored the second goal.

Milan, who have given themselves hope of overtaking their old rivals with two games remaining, play city rivals Inter on Sunday.
