Four wins on the trot has swept Ghana into the semi-finals of the African Cup of Nations, and the wins are beginning to edge Claude Le Roy’s men closer to the finals of the tournament.

Ghana’s coach woke up this morning to celebrate his 60th birthday with the greetings of happy birthday by players and backroom staff.

This is the second time the Frenchman has celebrated his birthday with the team. On the first occasion, he cut the cake in the morning before leading Ghana to a 4-1 thrashing of Nigeria in an international friendly later in the evening in Brentford.

At 60 today, Claude Le Roy cannot savour the joy that the day comes with as he prepares for another difficult stage of the African Cup of Nations on Thursday.

And the coach would be hoping the Black Stars ice his cake with victory over Cameroon at the Ohene Djan Stadium tomorrow.

We at www.ghanafa.org say Happy Birthday, Claude!!
