Hearts midfielder Laryea Kingston's three-match suspension for racist abuse towards referee Steve Conroy has been reduced to two by an appeals tribunal.

The Ghanaian international was reported for using insulting language following a red card incident during a 1-0 defeat to Aberdeen in March.

The Independent Appeals Tribunal met at Hampden to hear the player's appeal and reduced the suspension to two matches.

He will now miss Hearts' two opening SPL games against Hibs and Aberdeen.
