Karela United, Asante Kotoko do battle Saturday

Karela United have a date with Asante Kotoko at Naa Sheriga Sports Centre at Nalerigu on Saturday. While Asante Kotoko defeated Bibiani GoldStars 1-0, Karela United suffered a 3-0 loss to Berekum Chelsea on Matchday 19 of the Ghana Premier League.

Karela United are temporarily out of the relegation zone as they sit in 15th place in the League table with 20 points - having won 1, drawn 2 and suffered 2 defeats in their last 5 encounters.

Berekum Chelsea will yearn for all the points as they travel to Sogakope to battle with Accra Lions who are yet to record a win first win since Matchday 16.

Samuel Boadu will lead Chelsea for the first time this season after joining them on Tuesday following the departure of Christopher Ennin. The former Accra Hearts of Oak and Medeama SC coach who has been unemployed since September 2022 will be tested at Sogakope on Saturday.
