The Technical Directorate of the Ghana Football Association and the Global Football Development Division of FIFA will present the Amateur Football Environment Analysis global report and also the country report of Ghana, which is the product of a multi-year amateur football analysis of Ghana.

The two-day event will take place at the Alisa Hotel in Accra from August 25 to August 26, 2026. Two FIFA Technical Experts, Ali Mwebe and Serame Ezekiel Letsoaka (in Charge of Amateur Football in Africa) leading the programme with the support of the GFA Technical Directorate.

GFA President, Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku will open the two-day event on Tuesday, which is the day scheduled for the Executive Committee, Management and Staff of the Association to receive the presentation.

On Wednesday, it will be the turn of GFA and its external stakeholders, including the Ministry for Sports and Recreation, National Sports Authority, Ministry of Education, Ghana Olympic Committee, Ghana Education Services, Women’s Football Committee, representatives of the Leagues, Sporting Media, Medical Committee, Referees Committee, coaches of junior national teams, Beach Soccer, Futsal Committee, and the Academies.

The presentation is expected to offer valuable insights on the amateur football environment globally and in Ghana, including an overview of the structures and activities. The sessions will offer the different stakeholders involved at the amateur level of the game to interact and explore avenues for collaboration, with the ultimate objective of advancing the frontiers of the amateur game in Ghana.

The programme will also offer an excellent opportunity for various stakeholders to engage and share their knowledge and experience with the prominent members of the football governing bodies.
