Chris Hughton has apologized for Ghana’s disappointing output against the United States of America.

Ghana lost 4-0 to the USA at GEODIS Park in a calamitous outing Tuesday.

A Gio Reyna brace, Christian Pulisic penalty and Folarin Balogun’s sublime finish gave the States the most famous victory against the Black Stars in Nashville, Tennessee.

"I'm very sorry, and I take responsibility for the poor performance against the USA," Hughton said.

Ghana will play Madagascar and Comoros in two FIFA World Cup qualifiers in November.
