Hasaacas Ladies forced a bitter pill down the throat of Soccer Intellectuals after beating them by a lone goal.

The win is Hasmal's second victory on the road after pipping Lady Strikers 2-1 in Cape Coast last week.

It is Intellectuals second successive home defeat having succumbed 3-1 to league leaders Berry Ladies in week two.

The two teams began the match in explosive manner as goalkeepers on each side of the pitch pulled exceptional saves to keep the match barren.

Milot Abena Pokua scored the first goal, that proved to be the match winner inside 41 minutes for Hasaacas ladies to give them a deserved lead.

Miot received a pass from midfield and weaved her way inside the penalty are before smashing home for the opener.
