Gyan scores as Sunderland upsets Chelsea

Asamoah Gyan maintained his fine run in the the Premier League, scoring in Sunderland's 3-0 victory over leaders, Chelsea on Sunday.

The defeat ended Chelsea's home record of having not conceded a goal at Stamford Bridge all campaign before their match against the Black Cats.

Gyan scored his fourth goal in three games to make it 2-0 after Nedum Onuoha had put Sunderland ahead. Danny Welbeck scored the third with three minutes left.

The Ghana striker now has five goals to his name after scoring on his debut against Wigan.
