FIFA assistant referee Patricia Kyeraa has been selected to participate in the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Preparations Course, set to take place in Cairo, Egypt, later this month.
The intensive four-day program, organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), will run from May 24 to May 29, 2025, and is aimed at fine-tuning officiating standards ahead of the continent’s premier women’s football tournament.
Kyeraa is one of 49 elite referees and assistant referees chosen from across Africa to take part in this vital preparation process.
Participants will undergo a series of physical, theoretical, and technical assessments designed to ensure they meet the rigorous demands of officiating at the highest level.
The 13th edition of the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) is scheduled to be held in Morocco from July 5 to July 26, 2025, bringing together the best national women’s teams on the continent.
