Ghana to face Nigeria in Under 20 semis

Ghana have booked a semi final date with Nigeria after losing to Mali to emerge as runners up in group of the African Under 20 Championship in Senegal.

The Satellites lost 1:0 to Mali, who topped the group with a maximum 9 points.

Mali captain, Ichaka Diara headed home a corner kick midway in the first half for the only goal of the match

Black Satellites coach Sellas Tetteh made four changes to his starting line up for the final group match of the CAF Under 20 Championship against Mali.

Stephen Anokye Badu replaced Joe Adjei in defence whiles Kofi Yeboah came in for Mitchel Otoo in midfield.

In attack, Samuel Afful and Jona Osabutey replace Benjamin Tetteh and Yaw Yeboah respectively.

Both Ghana and Mali have qualified for the semi finals of the competition.
