GFA to hold Stakeholders workshop on Women's Football Strategy

The Ghana Football Association will hold a stakeholders workshop on the new Women’s Football strategy on Friday, March 24, 2023.

FIFA Consultant Thuba Sibanda is expected to attend the workshop which will include club officials, players, administrators, referees, media persons, Executive Council Members, coaches, club owners, supporters, Government officials, sponsors, Women's Premier League committee members, staff of the GFA and other relevant stakeholders in the Women's game.

The workshop will focus on six major pillars in the new strategy which include, Education, Grassroots, National teams, Marketing, Talent Identification and League development.

The GFA’s Technical Director Bernhard Lippert is spearheading the new Women’s Football Strategy with assistance from the head of Women's football development Ama Brobey-Williams who is also the project lead.

The event will take place at the Swiss Spirit Alisa Hotel in Accra.
