The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has successfully organized the 3rd and 4th editions edition of FIFA "Live Your Goals' Campaign in the Upper West and East regions.
The event which was held at the Wa Stadium and Bolga Girls School Park on Saturday and Sunday respectively is a football clinic aimed at instilling football interest into young girls under the age of 14.
It also created a platform for young school girls from the two regions to spend some time with experienced coaches such as Coach Oti Akenten and Didi Dramani.
The young girls also interacted with some experienced national female footballs such as Anita Wiredu (Black Queens & Immigration Ladies), Ivy Kolli (Black Princesses & Police Ladies) and Priscilla Okyere (Black Princesses & Ampem Darkoa Ladies).
The rationale for choosing the two regions to host the 3rd & 4th edition was aimed at imbibing an interest in football among young school girls whiles encouraging them to take their academic works serious.
These young girls were drawn from 10 Schools each in the Wa and Bolga Municipalities.
Present at the event were the chairperson, Madam Linear Addy, Coach of the female national Under-20 side, Mr. Oti Akenten, Mr. Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, RFA Chairmen for both regions well as other officials from the Ghana Football.
