FA to hold mid-season review meetings with Women’s Premier League and Division One Clubs
The Football Association will on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, convene separate mid-season review meetings with clubs in the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League and the Access Bank Division One League as part of efforts to assess progress and strengthen Ghana’s domestic competitions.
The review will focus on evaluating the first half of the ongoing season while addressing key challenges and opportunities as the leagues enter a crucial phase.
The FA leadership will first meet with Chief Executives of Division One League clubs at 2om before engaging executives of the Women’s Premier League clubs at 4pm local time.
The meetings are expected to provide a structured platform for open dialogue, collaboration and the identification of practical solutions aimed at improving competitiveness, professionalism and the long-term growth of both leagues.
The GFA hopes the engagement will help align all stakeholders around shared objectives, ensuring stronger, more attractive and sustainable leagues in the second half of the season and beyond.
