England manager Fabio Capello expects an 'interesting' game when his Three Lions play Ghana on Tuesday at the Wembley.

Both nations would be meeting in an historic first international at senior level.

Speaking ahead of the game, Capello justified the importance of lining up against Ghana, who reached the World Cup quarter-finals and the timing of the game as it comes just after a competitive Euro qualifier against Wales.

"We don't decide the dates on when we can play games and it was impossible to find a different date," he added.

"It's important for me and the players to play games against a team like Ghana, who are a very important team.

"Usually, we are together only two days at a time in the season, which is nothing. This time, we have ten days. If you want to improve, you need more training and more time to be together."
