The 2nd Vice-President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, is in Morocco for the 2025 CAF Awards, held at the prestigious Mohamed VI Polytechnic University in Rabat.

Okraku, who also serves as President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has been in the North African nation for a series of high-level engagements, including the latest sitting of the CAF Executive Committee.

He was joined at the ceremony by Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan as CAF celebrated the standout performers of the year.

The annual awards recognise exceptional players, coaches, clubs and national teams whose achievements in both domestic and international competitions have distinguished them from their peers.

This year’s event features Ghanaian representation, with both the Black Stars and Black Queens earning nominations following impressive performances during the review period.
