Black Stars receive last sponsorship cash from CCTC(Rice Masters)

Continental Commodity Trading Company (CCTC) - Rice Masters, the official meal sponsors of the Black Stars have presented a cheque of GHC 100,000 to the Ghana Football Association.

The amount represents the last tranche of its GHC 400,000 sponsorship agreement with the Football Association.

Mr. Fred Crentsil, Vice President of the FA, thanked CCTC (Rice Masters) for its 4-year partnership with the GFA as meal sponsors of the Black Stars.

“We thank you for your long standing support for the Black Stars. In fact, all the junior national teams have benefited from CCTC's sponsorship for the Black Stars”.

“Within the period, CCTC has also given a bus to the Black Stars which is also used by all the other nationals”, Mr. Crentsil said at the presentation ceremony held at the GFA head office on Wednesday.

On his part, Mr. Mohammed Al Darwich, Group Marketing Head of Finatrade (CCTC) said they are proud of their association with the Black Stars.

“We believe the team, which is one of the best in Africa, will reach the high level and we will try to support them in our own way in future until they attain the World Cup”, he stated.

Talks are underway for the Sponsorship agreement between the two organizations to be renewed after the four-year contract ended on December 24.
