The Black Stars have arrived in Bouake ahead of Thursday's 2027 Africa Cup of Nations Group C opener against Cote d'Ivoire.
The team departed Accra at 9:45am via a Ghana Air Force flight and arrived in Bouake at about 11:30am. The squad was met on arrival by Ghana's High Commissioner to Cote D'Ivoire H.E. Brigadier General Alhassan Abu (Rtd), the Ghanaian community and the media in Bouake, before checking into their hotel.
Ghana will hold an official training session at the match venue at 7:00pm this evening as part of preparations for the crucial encounter.
The Black Stars have been in camp since Monday, with preparations starting in Accra before the trip to Cote d'Ivoire. The Group C opener against the Elephants is scheduled for 7pm kick off on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Stade de la Paix/ Peace Stadium in Bouake.
The team will wrap up preparations with the official training tonight, followed by the pre-match press conference.
