The Black Starlets will take on Mali U-17 in their final international friendly match ahead of the 2026 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The encounter is scheduled to be played on Saturday in Mohammadia, where both teams are currently camping as part of their preparations for the continental tournament. Kickoff is set for 16:00 GMT.
The match will provide the Black Starlets with one final opportunity to fine-tune their tactics, assess player fitness and sharpen their readiness before the commencement of the competition.
The Starlets have already played two preparatory matches against the Young Elephants during their training tour in Ivory Coast. The Starlets suffered defeat in the first meeting but bounced back emphatically in the second game with a commanding 4-0 victory over the Young Elephants.
Head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum and his technical team are expected to use the clash against Mali to finalize their squad plans and build momentum ahead of Ghana’s opening game at the tournament.
