Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh-Ogum will begin a screening exercise on Monday, seeking players to augment the Black Starlets squad for the TotalEnergies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana will be participating in the tournament for the first time in 8 years, having finished second at the WAFU Zone B U-17 Championship in Cote D’Ivoire.

The first batch of players is expected to report to Prampram on Monday, where they will train and play friendly matches for one week before making way for other players. Subsequently, the best players will be selected to join the squad for the tournament.

The next edition of the TotalEnergies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations is scheduled to take place in Morocco in April next year.

The following players have been invited to camp at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram for a one-week screening exercise.
