Black Queens hold first training in Conakry

The Black Queens have held their first training at the Centre technique Cherie Souleymane in Conakry in readiness for the Olympic Games qualifier against Guinea.

Nora Hauptle had a fully fit squad with the exception of Portia Boakye and Azumah Bugre who did some light training before joining the group later on.

"It was a good exercise and I liked the intensity and commitment of the team, Nora said after training.

Wednesday's training, Ghana's first, since arriving in the Guinean capital lasted for two hours.

The Black Queens will start their campaign on Friday, July 14 when they take on Guinea in round one of the Olympic Qualifiers.
