The Black Maidens have ended their training tour in São Paulo with a recovery session held at the Penha field on a Wednesday morning.

The team returned to the training grounds which has been their training base since they arrived in Brazil, for a recovery session after their training match against Cameroon on Tuesday.

Coach Evans Adotey, Assistant Mallam Nuhu with some support from GFA Technical Director Oti Akenteng, took the Black Maidens through their last training session in Brazil.

The players who were handed starting places in the training session against Cameroon, were taken through a special session where the coaches sought to correct the errors yesterday’s match.

The session ended with a team meeting where coaches lauded the players for their discipline and commitment to the training sessions and urged them to concentrate on the competition ahead.

Owners of the Penha field presented a jersey to the team and urged the Maidens to go all out and win the ultimate in Uruguay.

Team Ghana will arrive in Uruguay on Thursday afternoon.
