Ghana's Black Maidens secured an emphatic 4-0 victory over Togo in their third match of the ongoing WAFU Zone B Girls Cup, producing a dominant display from start to finish.
The Maidens made a blistering start and took the lead after just three minutes when Gloria Ameaa found the net to put Ghana ahead.
The pressure continued and Ghana doubled their advantage six minutes later, with Seidatu Wahab calmly converting from the penalty spot in the 9th minute.
Togo struggled to find a foothold in the game as Ghana controlled proceedings and held their comfortable 2-0 lead into the half-time break.
The second half followed a similar pattern. Gloria Ameaa came close to adding a spectacular third in the 54th minute, but her effort went narrowly wide.
Ghana's dominance finally told again in the 59th minute when Linda Owusu Ansah made it 3-0, before adding her second and Ghana's fourth in the 69th minute to seal a resounding victory.
The win maintains the Black Maidens' impressive run in the tournament.
