John Mensah returns from suspension to lead Ghana for the African Cup of Nations third-place playoff against Ivory Coast at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The Black Stars captain missed the semi-final game on Thursday against Cameroon.

There is a starting role for striker Baffour Gyan as Claude Le Roy pairs him upfront with Junior Agogo.

Haminu Draman gets a place in the starting line up as Michael Essien stays in midfield together with Anthony Annan.
