Africa Cup of Nations hosts South Africa and debutants Cape Verde are awaiting the results of Monday's Group B matches to determine their opponents in the quarter-finals.
The action in Group B will see leaders, Ghana take on Niger with Mali and DR Congo also battling for qualifying places.
Both countries qualified for the last eight of the competition on Sunday from Group A at the expense of Morocco and Angola.
South Africa scored a late goal to seal a 2-2 draw with Morocco Durban while Cape Verde Islands pulled a surprise 2-1 win over Angola.
The result from Group A means, South Africa will play the second runner-up from Group B while Cape Verde takes on the side that tops the group.
